Adrian specialises in commercial litigation and contentious regulatory matters. Adrian has experience in advising multinational and Chinese companies, international banks and high net-worth individuals in a broad range of commercial disputes across multiple jurisdictions, including on cross-border contractual disputes, joint venture and shareholder disputes, before the Courts, Arbitral Tribunals and Mediators.
Adrian is well-regarded by his clients to advise on and handle their complex commercial disputes across different industry sectors including financial services, consumer goods, energy and infrastructure, manufacturing and technology.
Adrian has experience advising multinational companies, PRC state-owned enterprises, international investment banks in regulatory investigations conducted by regulatory and enforcement authorities, including the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Securities and Futures Commission and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
Adrian has also successfully obtained prohibitive injunctions from the Hong Kong Courts and achieved timely resolution of disputes at mediation and at trial to protect his clients’ interests.
Adrian was previously seconded to work for an international investment bank as in-house counsel for seven months, during which he managed a portfolio of banking related disputes and several major internal investigations into potential misconduct and regulatory issues.
