Christopher is an Associate in the Global Commercial Disputes Group at Reed Smith LLP.
Christopher has particular experience in international arbitration, financial disputes, fraud, cross-border enforcement and injunctive relief. Christopher also advises on regulatory investigations, professional negligence disputes, contentious cyber security and data protection, financial sanctions and general commercial disputes.
Christopher has particularly strong experience in the finance and investment, oil and gas, and commodities sectors. Christopher has advised financial institutions, investors, and both private and state-owned enterprises from across the United States, Europe, CIS and Asia.
Christopher’s recent experience includes advising clients on: emergency interim relief, including relief in aid of arbitration and foreign proceedings, freezing injunctions, search orders and security for costs; international arbitrations relating to commodities and finance disputes; jurisdictional challenges to arbitral tribunals and/or awards; professional negligence claims against solicitors and valuers; enforcement, or challenges to the enforcement, of domestic and foreign judgments and international arbitral awards; and applications to the Court of Appeal.
Christopher graduated with distinction in a Masters of Laws from the University of Durham, specialising in international banking law, international investment law, European company law, and European investment and financial services regulation.
