The Erosion of Public Health Powers

Worthwhile read from KHN on how the COVID-19 pandemic has eroded our public health infrastructure.  24 states have written legislation to curtail existing public health powers.  181 state and local public health leaders have resigned or been fired.  

For reference, early in the pandemic, Reed Smith did a survey of these very broad laws.
