Peter has wealth of experience supporting the global businesses, particularly those in the communications, defense, aerospace, security and transportation sectors. As well as M&A and other transactional matters, reflecting his industry experience, Peter is an expert in communications regulation, export control and international trade sanctions, and government procurement rules.
Peter won the BTI ‘Client Service All Stars’ award in 2019 for a fifth year. The honor recognizes leaders in superior client service based exclusively upon unprompted nominations from corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 companies.
Peter is dual-qualified: he is admitted as both a solicitor in England & Wales and as an attorney-at-law in the United States, and has practiced in both jurisdictions including five years in Washington, D.C. He is a former co-chair of the Firm’s Global Corporate Group.
Peter regularly assists clients to understand and manage the differences in business law practice between the United States and Europe, and to avoid the misunderstandings and traps commonly encountered in cross-border transactions. He has extensive experience in developing and implementing global compliance programs.
