LONDON – Reed Smith has been shortlisted in the ‘Recruiting Diverse Talent’ category, which recognises organisations that demonstrate an innovative approach to attracting and hiring talent from diverse backgrounds.

The UK Diversity Legal Awards are the only industry awards that focus solely on recognising, promoting and celebrating equality, diversity and inclusion across the legal profession.

Sakil Suleman, partner and head of the firm’s UK Diversity Committee, commented: “I am delighted that Reed Smith has been shortlisted for this award. The judges noted that Reed Smith works passionately toward achieving greater diversity by not filtering applicants solely on A-level grades; instead, emphasis is placed on a candidate’s strengths and enthusiasm and on demonstrating the firm’s key competencies.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on Wednesday 21 November 2018.
