The London-based Financial Industry Group partner will be awarded the Honorary QC, also known as honorary silk, at a ceremony in London in March 2020.

Daniel was honoured for both his extraordinary contributions to capital markets through his practice at Reed Smith and his work as founder of the Forum for US Securities Lawyers in London, as well as his contributions to diversity, inclusion and culture in the legal profession through the InterLaw Diversity Forum, which is supported by Reed Smith.

Lord Chancellor & Justice Secretary, Rt Hon Robert Buckland QC MP said: “The award of QC is a time-honoured recognition of excellence. I want to congratulate all those on their forthcoming appointments and awards. The depth of expertise and eminence in this pool is vast and is exactly what gives our legal system its world-leading reputation.”
