Molly practices in the Business & Finance and Litigation Departments and manages a wide variety of complex civil matters. She represents sophisticated clients in financial services litigation and has extensive experience with mediation, arbitration, taking depositions, and trial preparation. Molly has also collaborated with the Energy & Natural Resources Group in defending toxic tort matters caused by chemical exposures, releases, or contamination. Additionally, Molly supports the general commercial contract portfolios of several clients, with an emphasis on development contracts and commercial contracts.
Prior to joining Reed Smith in 2017, Molly was an associate attorney at a Pittsburgh-based law firm practicing insurance defense. Additionally, Molly clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge Joy Flowers Conti for the Western District of Pennsylvania from 2014-15. Molly also completed a summer internship with the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., where she assisted in the preparation of U.S. diplomats for overseas placement at the Foreign Service Institute.
While attending the University of Toledo College of Law, Molly was an editor on the Law Review and participated in multiple Moot Court competitions. Additionally, as an undergraduate student, Molly was heavily involved with the Undergraduate Student Government and was elected Speaker of the Senate by her peers during her senior year.
