Mike’s primary clients are major exploration and production (E&P) companies, pipeline companies, and creditors/lenders in the energy space. He also represents banks, financial institutions, and lenders in disputes with debtors and co-creditors. 

Mike has trial experience in state and federal courts in Texas. He regularly advocates for his clients in courts across Texas and beyond. 

As part of his pro bono contributions, Mike has assisted clients with pursuing asylum claims, volunteered at Camp Hope, and sits on the board of AFA - the largest music education non-profit organization in Houston. He has also assisted individuals with civil rights issues through Lambda Legal.
