Tamra focuses her practice on government investigations and lititgation. She guides hospital systems, pharmaceutical entities, and medical device manufacturers through internal assessments, complex data analyses, compliance training, and defense of external investigations. She specializes in fraud and abuse, anti-kickback, and overpayments, as well as state and federal false claims act litigation.
Her experience includes proceedings at the administrative, state, and federal levels; large-scale discovery disputes; appeals; and crisis management. Tamra is committed to finding creative solutions to complex issues and utilizes internal fact-finding and data analyses as a way to reduce interruption and allow her clients to continue providing critical health care services to their patients. Tamra’s broader legal background includes volunteering at Nicaragua’s Human Rights Commission and working with state legislators to combat human trafficking.
