In addition to emergency injunctive relief and mortgage enforcement, CJ advises owners, charterers, P&I clubs, and financial institutions on a variety of disputes under charter parties, bills of lading, and sales contracts. She has litigation experience in English Commercial Court, Court of Appeal, and arbitration under LMAA and LCIA rules.

CJ acts for private equity owners, institutional lenders, and borrowers – such as syndicated and bilateral loan facilities and revolving credit facilities – on shipping finance transactions, purchasing of shipping loan portfolios, and registration. While on secondment with the Reed Smith’s New York Ship Finance team, she focused on transactions involving New York, Liberian, and Marshall Islands law.

CJ is a TIG trainee mentor and is on the committee of Reed Smith's Multicultural Network.
