Naz is an associate in the Energy & Natural Resources Group and has a wide range of experience in trade and physical commodities disputes. Her practice mainly focuses on advising traders and suppliers in managing and resolving trade, commodity and shipping disputes. She has extensive experience of commodity arbitrations especially before GAFTA, FOSFA and the SAL.
Naz’s practice also covers non-contentious matters. In particular, she has drafted a number of trade, transportation, services and storage agreements, including: GTCs for the sale and purchase of sugar; supply agreements for petroleum products, and; agreements for the provision of throughput, storage and logistics services for petroleum products.
Naz has undertaken a client secondment at a global agricultural commodities merchant.
