NEW YORK – Global law firm Reed Smith has advised Revelyst, a segment of Vista Outdoor, Inc., the parent company of more than three dozen renowned brands that design, manufacture and market sporting and outdoor products, on its sale of the RCBS brand to Hodgdon Powder Company, via a global asset carve out.
Revelyst is a collective of world-class maker brands that design and manufacture performance gear and precision technologies.
RCBS is a leading provider of quality reloading equipment and precision shooting products.
Hodgdon is a manufacturer and distributor of gunpowder and reloading supplies. It is the largest U.S. supplier of smokeless and black powder substitute propellants.
The New York-based M&A team which advised Revelyst was led by partners Chris Sheaffer and Anatoliy Rozental and associates Lowell Bourgeois and Brent McDonough.
