LONDON - Global law firm Reed Smith has advised Titan Investors, a prominent UK investment manager, in their recent acquisition of Turnmill, a 70,300 sq ft office space located in London, from Derwent London for £77.35 million.

The Turnmill offices, situated in the heart of Clerkenwell, were redeveloped in 2015 and are currently leased to Publicis Groupe at a passing rent of £4 million.

Specialising in UK commercial real estate, Titan Investors is a sector-agnostic value investor. Derwent London is a British-based property investment and development business.

The Reed Smith team advising on the sale was led by Real Estate partner Nick Harris, who was supported by counsel Kalvinder Sangha, associates Katie Wayne and Kyle Sethi, and consultant Julia Berry, who assisted on the real estate and planning aspects. Financial Industry Group partner Josh Hughes, associate Ben Kerawala, and trainee solicitor Amy Wong provided support on the real estate financing side.

Harris said: “Reed Smith were delighted to assist with this complex and high-profile acquisition; it is a fantastic building and one which underscores Titan Investors' strategic expansion in the UK commercial real estate market.”
