NEW YORK – Global law firm Reed Smith served as counsel to Delta Auto Transport, a full-service automobile carrier and network logistics service provider, on its sale to Proficient Auto Logistics, a specialized freight company focused on providing auto transportation and logistics services.
Proficient Auto Logistics is a NASDAQ-listed company formed through the combination of five industry-leading operating companies, one of which was Delta Auto Transport.
Proficient will operate one of the largest auto transportation fleets in North America.
The New York-based corporate team that advised Delta Auto included partners Gerard DiFiore, Dean Melitsanopoulos, and Angelo Ciavarella; counsel Ari Byk; and associates Emerson Bianchi and Luke Meyerson.
