Global law firm Reed Smith saw success in the latest rankings published by law firm directory The Legal 500 UK. In the 2013 edition the firm was ranked in the top band for Commodities: derivatives, Commodities: physicals, Trade finance, Insurance litigation: for policy holders, Media & entertainment and Media finance.
After continued expansion into key industry sectors, the firm has entered six new categories: Commercial contracts, Venture capital, High yield, Securitisation, Mining & mineral, and Environment; and moved up a band in eight categories: Asset finance and leasing, Bank lending – investment grade debt and syndicated loans, Commodities: derivatives, Employment, Insurance litigation: for policy holders, Oil and gas, Commercial property – investment, and Public international law.
