Alexander is a partner in the German Intellectual Property (IP) Group, responsible for all "soft" IP matters, and a commercial lawyer with international experience in a wide range of intellectual property law matters, both contentious and non-contentious. Alexander advises regularly on prosecution, portfolio management, licensing, and infringement matters, particularly in the areas of trademarks, designs, copyrights and unfair competition. He also advises on intellectual property law issues in connection with corporate transactions and has longstanding experience in representing clients in high-profile disputes before the German and European Community authorities and courts.
