Howell joins the firm with over 20 years’ experience advising clients across the energy industry. She has a particular focus on the LNG sector, representing clients across the LNG supply chain globally, from the financing and development of LNG import and export projects to LNG sales, marketing, trading and transportation. Howell also brings with her two decades of experience of upstream joint ventures, unitization, M&A and other energy related corporate transactions, across several continents.
She joins the firm from King & Spalding where she was partner prior to joining Reed Smith. Howell has also previously worked at a magic circle law firm in London, which involved secondments to BP and Shell (formerly BG International).
Howell is recognized in Chambers UK, and Legal 500 UK where she is cited as a “Next Generation Partner”.
