Sizemore joined Reed Smith as an associate in 2010 and was promoted to partner in 2017. Today, he represents major corporate debtors, indenture trustees, financial institutions and other creditors in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and non-judicial restructurings throughout the U.S.
Sizemore likewise advises indenture trustees and fiscal agents for corporate and municipal debt in various distressed, default and restructuring scenarios. He has especially unique experience in municipal restructurings, having represented key creditors in two of the three largest and groundbreaking municipal insolvency cases in U.S. history: the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and Jefferson County, Alabama.

- Nova Wildcat Shur-line Holdings Inc. d/b/a H2 Brands, a portfolio company of Nova Capital Management, in connection with its Chapter 11 bankruptcy case and related 363 sale process.
- ON Marine Services Company LLC in connection with the confirmation of its Chapter 11 plan in Pennsylvania, which establishes a trust to resolve thousands of asbestos personal injury claims.
- Cyprus Mines Corporation in its Chapter 11 bankruptcy case, pending in Delaware since February 2021, which involves a proposed personal injury trust to handle the thousands of talc-related claims against the client and other defendants.
- A major financial institution in its capacity as indenture trustee in connection with an ongoing dispute between two competing agencies under two regulatory regimes that are battling for ownership of the Miami-Dade Expressway System.
- As large depository institution in connection with the Chapter 11 bankruptcy case of Vantage Travel in Massachusetts.
- United Policyholders in filing an amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court addressing the important issue of insurance companies’ standing to object to Chapter 11 reorganization plans.
