George is the Managing Partner of the Pittsburgh office and a member of the firm's Insurance Recovery Group.  Since 1990, George has devoted a significant portion of his practice to the representation of policyholders in substantial insurance coverage matters in state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate level. In particular, George has focused on disputes involving coverage of: (i) product liability and toxic tort claims, (ii) claims for infringement of intellectual property and related business torts (including antitrust liabilities), and (iii) directors and officers.  He also has successfully represented policyholders in first-party property claims, including flood and employee dishonesty claims.

In addition to extensive participation in insurance coverage negotiations, mediations and arbitrations, George has represented commercial policyholders in various notable insurance coverage lawsuits.
