(9 September 2014) – Reed Smith LLP, a leading international law firm, once again earned several high-level rankings in the third annual edition of the LMG Life Sciences Guide. Seventeen lawyers in the firm were selected by the publication as “Life Science Stars,” eight of whom have been recognized since the inaugural issue of the guide was released in 2012.

LMG Life Sciences Guide is a publication of Legal Media Group, a part of Euromoney Institutional Investor, PLC.

Reed Smith’s United Kingdom practice was recommended in the categories of Regulatory and Intellectual Property, as well as for the subcategories of “Finance and Transactional: Corporate and Commercial,” “Finance and Transactional: Licensing and Collaboration,” and “Non-IP Litigation and Enforcement: Competition/Antitrust.” The firm was also recommended in France in the Regulatory category.

Princeton partner Diane M. Frenier and London partners Wilkinson, Nicola Maguire, Edward S. Miller and Perry Yam were named “Life Science Stars” in the Finance and Transactional category, where the guide noted that Frenier “is considered an expert serving midsized companies in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology with mergers and divestments, equity financing and securities, capital markets activities and collaborative agreements.”

Wilkinson and Paris partner Marina Cousté were also honored as being “Stars” in the Intellectual Property category.
