Providing access to justice
U.S. clinics
Our lawyers and paraprofessionals routinely provide pro bono advice at community legal clinics in the United States. We attend clinics where we help seniors navigate their entitlement to public benefits, we help first responders with wills and advanced care directives, we arrange the expungement of outdated criminal records, and we assist the homeless with a variety of legal and practical issues.
People with disabilities
We work with University House Legal Advice Centre in London on an advocacy project, assisting clients who are denied their disability benefits. Our lawyers prepare the appeal submission and represent their clients at the First-tier Tribunal. We have so far achieved a 95 percent success rate for our clients.
Members of the public in Singapore
Our lawyers advise members of the public on various legal issues, including employment disputes and negligence claims, in clinics held at the Singapore Management University Pro Bono Centre.
Civil rights
Our lawyers have partnered with UK civil rights organization Liberty since 2007 on a letter writing clinic and also assist with its telephone advice line.
“The work that you provide to Liberty is absolutely vital to our human rights work.”
