Simon has over 16 years’ experience acting on cross-border transactions for global financial institutions, leasing companies, airlines, MROs, and manufacturers in respect of a range of international asset and structured finance and leasing transactions. He is recognised as a leading individual by Legal 500 for Asset Finance in Asia Pacific, and as a ranked practitioner for Aviation in Asia Pacific by Chambers & Partners, with clients commenting that Simon stands out for his “practical, commercial-minded advice” and “very smooth transaction management abilities”). During his career, Simon has gained significant bank side and in-house experience through being seconded to some of the leading financial institutions in the transportation sector in both Europe and Asia (Barclays Bank, DVB Bank, and Standard Chartered).
