CHICAGO – Legal directory Super Lawyers has included four Reed Smith lawyers in its Illinois Super Lawyers list, and five more of the firm's lawyers are on its Rising Stars list, global law firm Reed Smith today announced.
The following lawyers (name and practice area recognized) from Reed Smith’s Chicago office appear on the 2024 Illinois Super Lawyers list.

- John Shugrue, Insurance Coverage
- John Vishneski, Ill, Insurance Coverage
The Super Lawyers list represents no more than 5% of the lawyers in the state, according to the publisher, which is owned by Thomson Reuters.
Here are the five Reed Smith lawyers on the 2024 Illinois Rising Stars list – one of whom is appearing for the first time.

To be selected as a Rising Star, lawyers must either be 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or fewer.
