PRINCETON – Legal publisher Super Lawyers has chosen four lawyers from Reed Smith’s Princeton office to include in its directories for the Garden State. The lawyers have proven track records on employment law, and in the aviation, defense and real estate industries.

Melissa Geist was included in the publisher’s “Super Lawyers” list, a distinction that goes to top-rated practicing attorneys. Geist helps clients address legal issues related to defense product liability. 2024 is the sixth time Geist gained the “Super Lawyers” distinction: She received it for the years 2016 through 2020.

To be placed on the “Rising Stars” list, lawyers must either be 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or fewer. Here are the three Reed Smith lawyers who received the publisher’s “Rising Stars” designation for New Jersey.

  • Catherine Kiernan, Aviation and Aerospace (this is Kiernan’s first time on the list)
  • Saranne Weimer, Employment Litigation: Defense (Weimer has been selected to the Rising Stars list for three years running)
  • M. Bassam Zohny, Real Estate (Zohny has been selected to the Rising Stars list also for three years running)
