Adela Mues – M&A Lawyer of the Year: A partner in Reed Smith’s Global Corporate Group, Mues has over 14 years of experience in the UAE. She advises on a wide range of local and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital, corporate reorganizations, and corporate inward investment structures. She also provides counsel on financial services regulatory matters, such as fund management, investment management, virtual assets and fund formation.

Umbreen Meenai – Banking & Finance Lawyer of the Year: With more than a decade of experience, Meenai advises banks, financial institutions, private equity houses, and corporate and government-related borrowers on investment-grade and leveraged finance, asset finance, project finance, trade finance, and real estate finance transactions, utilizing both conventional and Islamic structures. She has been based in the UAE for over 10 years.

Alison Eslick – Senior Associate of the Year: Focusing on international arbitration for major infrastructure projects, Eslick has practiced in Dubai since 2008. She counsels local and international clients on complex cross-border disputes across various industries, including oil and gas, renewable energy, construction, hospitality and real estate.
