“We are very excited about this move and our new modern space,” said Julie Hardin, Reed Smith's Managing Partner – Americas. “Since opening in Denver this February, the response from both clients and the market has been outstanding. Denver continues to be one of the fastest-growing markets in the U.S. This new space, with its incredible amenities and optimum location, reflects how we view the Denver market; a vibrant and welcoming business hub where the sky’s the limit for our lawyers and our clients.”
The Denver office launched with 20 lawyers and has quickly gained momentum. This expansion follows the firm’s recent opening in Atlanta in January and reflects a broader initiative to grow in markets that align with client needs and the firm’s strategic plan. So far in 2025, Reed Smith has added more than 125 lawyers globally.
“We’re seeing tremendous momentum across multiple practices and regions,” Hardin added. “Our growth in Denver supports the evolving needs of our clients in private equity, finance, and technology. Beyond strengthening our corporate team, we’re also adding highly skilled trial lawyers, insurance recovery attorneys, and real estate practitioners. This new space is a testament to our ongoing investment in talent and our dedication to exceptional client service.”
“We considered several options and ultimately chose a location that aligns with our people, culture, and long-term vision. This new office not only accommodates our growth but also offers a dynamic work environment that reflects the enthusiasm we’ve seen from clients since launching earlier this year. It’s a clear signal of the firm’s investment in Denver and the kind of workplace culture that attracts top talent and fosters successful careers,” said Denver Office Managing Partner Jay Spader. “We expect a lot of visitors from across the firm and are looking forward to our office opening in the coming months.”
