Rob is an associate in the Pittsburgh office and a member of the firm’s Global Corporate Group. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, and general corporate matters for both public and privately held businesses.
While attending law school and business school, Rob was a teaching assistant for Torts, Legal Research and Writing, and Academic Excellence. He also worked as a research assistant for Professors Peter Oh and Charles Cohen. Rob received CALI awards in Torts and Civil Procedure. He served as a senior development editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review, where his Student Note, Weinberger’s Effect on Dissenters’ Rights Actions in Pennsylvania, was published. Rob was a two-time summer associate at Reed Smith and a legal intern at Matthews International Corporation.
Prior to attending law school and business school, Rob spent four years working as a business development manager for a national industrial construction company. His team focused on the growth and diversification of the company’s eastern and mid-Atlantic regions.
At Wesleyan University, Rob was a two-sport student-athlete. He captained the ice hockey team for two seasons, was a two-time recipient of an award given to a player displaying exemplary character and effort, and was named to the NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team. Rob was also a three-year letter winner on the baseball team.
