Tamas is a Counsel in the Global Corporate Group. He has over a decade of corporate transactional and general advisory experience, with a primary focus on cross-border transactions, principally in private M&A and private equity. He also focuses on corporate restructurings and reorganisations and complex commercial contracts. He advises corporates, financial sponsors and institutional investors across a broad range of business sectors.

Representative matters

Advised a joint venture between a large U.S. financial sponsor and an investment holding company on the proposed acquisition of a broadsheet newspaper and a magazine (advised on prior to joining Reed Smith).
Advised a large U.S. financial sponsor and its portfolio company on the latter’s $450 million acquisition of an online consumer intelligence and social media listening platform (advised on prior to joining Reed Smith).
Advised Safanad on its control investment in HC-One, the UK’s largest care home operator, and related management incentivisation plan (advised on prior to joining Reed Smith).
