An experienced senior financial and operations executive, Jim is Reed Smith’s chief financial officer. He oversees finance and accounting operations across the firm’s 31 offices in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East and Asia. His responsibilities include leading a global team of over 150 business services professionals.
During Jim’s more than 30-year career, he has held senior global and multinational roles in both public companies and private equity-backed portfolio companies in industries as diverse as cybersecurity and enterprise risk consulting, IT software and services, and medical transportation.
Jim has an MBA in finance and international business through a joint-degree program from the New York University Stern School of Business, the London School of Economics and the HEC School of Management (Paris). He also has a Juris Masters focused on risk management, compliance and bankruptcy from Florida State University’s College of Law.
