Ure A. Obioma is an associate in the Emerging Growth & Venture Capital Group in our San Francisco Office. She focuses her practice on representing public and private companies in a wide range of general corporate matters, including entity formation and related corporate governance matters, negotiating venture capital financings, representing private companies in merger and acquisition transactions, and counselling public companies on public and private offerings of equity and equity-linked securities.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, Ure was an associate at a major U.S. law firm, where she focused on advising private companies from formation to exit, drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a variety of transactional documents, including prospectuses, offering documents, and memoranda for public companies, as well as preparing SEC, NYSE, and NASDAQ filings, including annual reports, quarterly reports, current reports, and proxy and information statements.
Ure received her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2021 and received her B.A. from Cornell University in 2018.
