Tom is an associate in our Energy & Natural Resources Group and advises trading companies and lenders in connection with energy matters and the international trade and transportation of a range of commodities. He joined the firm as a trainee and gained experience in dry shipping disputes, restructuring and insolvency, and international arbitration, including investment treaty arbitrations. He was admitted as a solicitor in August 2021.

Tom has acted for clients in complex commercial disputes before the English High Court and the Court of Appeal. He has experience acting in trade association and international arbitrations, including under the LCIA, SCMA, LMAA, ICC and ICSID rules. His non-contentious work has involved advice in relation to the physical commodities aspects of structured finance transactions and the negotiation and drafting of transaction contracts.
