Ashley Jordan, a partner in Reed Smith’s Insurance Recovery Group, has been featured for a second year running in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Women of Influence: Attorneys list of impactful women, the global law firm announced on April 17.

Jordan has recovered more than $200 million in insurance proceeds for Fortune 500 and middle market businesses. Her practice focuses on insurance claims for stakeholders in the construction and energy industries.

A recognized thought leader, Jordan is a frequent speaker and has published numerous articles on topics related to insurance coverage and risk management in Thomson Reuters’ Legal Handbook for Architects, Engineers and Contractors: Issues in Construction and Technology, Law360, American Bar Association publications, and Los Angeles Lawyer. She serves as a regular columnist for Thomson Reuters and leads that publisher’s Attorney Analysis column on insurance, which covers cutting-edge issues in insurance recovery.

Jordan serves as the co-chair of the Los Angeles office's women's initiative network. She was elected in January 2023 as a partner representative on Reed Smith’s Executive Committee.

Jordan serves on the Advisory Board of the Institute for Energy Law and is the current co-chair for the Construction Law Subsection of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She is a member of the legal advisory committee for the Associated General Contractors of California and of the steering committee for the Construction Law Practice Area Committee of the California Lawyers Association.
