A member of the Reed Smith Insurance Recovery Group, which has been recognized as one of Law360’s Insurance Groups of the Year, Zack focuses his practice on cutting-edge insurance recovery litigation in state and federal courts throughout the U.S. often involving matters of first impression. Since joining the firm in 2018, he has been quickly recognized for his leadership capabilities and strengths. During his tenure with the firm, Zack has earned a reputation for identifying and developing creative legal strategies in major insurance recovery litigation. His contributions have been integral in resolving client issues, resulting in multi-million dollar settlements for clients, including a precedent-setting summary judgement ruling for a major firm client. In 2019, he was asked to co-chair the Pittsburgh office’s Name Change Project, one of the firm’s more prominent pro bono initiatives that assists transgender individuals with the complicated process of legally changing their names to match their gender identities and avoid potential discrimination and harassment.
