Aaron focuses on commercial real estate transactions, representing clients in the acquisition, disposition, leasing, development, and financing of office, retail, industrial, and multifamily properties. He also advises on planned community development matters. While his practice is national in scope, Aaron frequently serves as local Pennsylvania counsel, advising on the intricacies of state and local law in multistate portfolio acquisition, disposition, leasing, and financing matters.
In addition to representing clients in traditional real estate transactions, Aaron routinely advises on sale-leaseback transactions; the real estate aspects of company mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions; foreclosure actions; and real estate tax assessment appeals.
Before joining Reed Smith in 2019, Aaron was an assistant general counsel for American Eagle Outfitters and practiced as an associate at an international law firm.
Aaron serves on the planning committee for the International Council of Shopping Centers in the Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania region.
