L.A. Business Journal recognizes Michael Brown of Reed Smith as a Leader of Influence

LOS ANGELES – Michael K. Brown has been recognized as one of the L.A. Business Journal‘s 2023 litigation and trial attorney Leaders of Influence, Reed Smith reports today.

The LABJ described Smith as “a ‘go-to’ trial lawyer, litigator and strategist who has helped shape drug and device law.”

Brown is renowned for handling complex product liability, unfair competition, false advertising and commercial cases, including class actions, mass torts and multidistrict litigation. He also is a lead trial counsel in a hernia mesh MDL that comprises 20,000 cases. He is a partner in Reed Smith’s Life Sciences Health Industry Group.

This special section was published in the July 24 LABJ issue.

Lawyers do not pay to be included in the issue, the LABJ states. They are selected for inclusion after being reviewed and chosen by LABJ editors based on demonstrable impact on the profession and on the Los Angeles community.
