Reed Smith partner Jonah Mitchell joins Daily Journal’s list of top IP lawyers in California

SAN FRANCISCO – International law firm Reed Smith announced today that the Daily Journal has named partner Jonah Mitchell to appear on its Top IP Lawyers of 2024 list. The annual listing recognizes California-based lawyers cutting-edge work in patent, copyright and trademark law that helps advance technological innovation and transform the law.

Based in San Francisco, Mitchell is a key member of Reed Smith’s global IP practice and recently launched Emerging Technologies team. Mitchell was highlighted for his 25 years at Reed Smith handling complex, high-stakes litigation involving patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation and commercial disputes.

The Daily Journal also recognized Jonah for his recent success guiding Keysight Technologies through a complex, cross-border, multivenue patent infringement dispute with Centripetal Networks. Mitchell was profiled for his team’s defense strategy, including prevailing after trial at the International Trade Commission and multiple successes at the Patent Trial and Appeals Board, among others.

Mitchell also was recently named to the IAM Patent 1000, which called him one of three “key contacts” in Reed Smith’s California-based “team of collaboratively minded litigators” who “work tirelessly to help clients achieve their goals.”
