Winners were honored at a special awards ceremony on March 26 at the Legalweek 2025 conference in New York City. Reed Smith also was shortlisted at the 2025 award for Best Use of Artificial Intelligence; Best Use of Emerging Technology (Non-AI); and Regulatory, Governance and Compliance Technology.
Cohen received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his pioneering work in e-discovery, artificial intelligence and ethics. Cohen is also the chair of the EDRM Project Trustees, a global organization that creates practical resources to improve e-discovery, privacy, security and information governance.
Boyer was among the honorees of the inaugural Monica Bay Women of Legal Tech Award for her role in applying human-centered design with data-driven strategies to solve legal challenges creatively. Launched by Boyer and Chief Innovation Officer David Cunningham in 2022, Reed Smith’s global Innovation Lab deploys human-centered design methodologies for discovering, incubating and accelerating creative ideas at the firm alongside attorneys and business services professionals.
