Nguyen and other winners will be honored at the 2024 California Legal Awards, to be held in Los Angeles on Oct. 15.
Beginning her legal career at Reed Smith nine years ago as a summer associate, Nguyen was promoted to partner on Jan. 1, 2024, after seven years in practice.
A highly skilled, business-minded deal lawyer with a reputation for getting deals done to her clients’ satisfaction, Nguyen was highlighted by The Recorder for her work on high-stakes commercial real estate transactions worth more than $1.2 billion in the aggregate.
Nguyen is highly sought after by real estate investment trusts (REITS) and other institutional clients in acquisitions and sale-leaseback transactions of net lease properties, often involving major multi-state portfolios of properties and under extremely aggressive timelines.
Additionally, Nguyen has served on Reed Smith’s hiring committee for nine years, recruiting diverse talent while cultivating the next generation of legal leaders. She also serves as an integration mentor for lateral hires and first-year associates, helping new arrivals assimilate, meet internal benchmarks and consider their career path.
Nguyen also was named a “2024 Woman of Influence” in the Rising Star category by GlobeSt.; and selected through peer review for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America’s "Ones to Watch" list for real estate law each of the last four years.
