Assisted Alpha Real Capital with the completion of a deal to purchase the ground rents for a £1 billion portfolio of three central London hotels. This transaction was carried out under Alpha’s Index Linked Income Fund (ILIF), which focuses on long-income real asset investments. The purchase of commercial ground rents form a key part of the ILIF strategy, due to their long-term income generating capabilities and value. Alpha Real has invested over £1.4 billion across more than 500 properties through the ILIF over the past few years, with around £600 million of this invested over the past year alone through commercial ground rent acquisitions.
Advised CEG on the sale of a multi-let industrial estate in Middleton in North Manchester. The site comprised 680,000 square feet of warehouse and distribution space and was sold to UBS for £45 million.
