Schaffner is a well-known intellectual property litigator based in Reed Smith’s Paris office. She heads the firm’s intellectual property team in Paris and its patent practice in Europe.

She is recognized for coordinating and managing complex national and transnational patent disputes and related issues in the health care, pharmaceuticals, biotech, chemistry, technology and telecommunications sectors.

It is notable that Schaffner won the Patent Strategy & Management award last year, after being shortlisted.

Winners will be announced on May 16 at an awards ceremony in London.
