Bethan supports clients across a broad range of sectors on all aspects of employment law, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters. Her practice spans day to day advisory support, the employment aspects of corporate transactions and cross border projects, policy and handbook compliance, and employment tribunal disputes.
Bethan’s transactional experience includes advising on the employment aspects of international M&A transactions and restructurings (involving the application of TUPE), as well as supporting clients with global team reorganisations and redundancies. She also has experience drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
On the advisory side, she assists clients with issues such as discrimination, family leave and pay, benefits, holiday policies, and workplace culture and conduct matters, including anti-harassment compliance.
Bethan also acts for employers in employment tribunal proceedings and pre-action disputes.
She trained at Reed Smith, completing her Labour & Employment seat alongside rotations in the Financial Industry Group (regulatory) and Entertainment & Media Group, and undertaking a commercial client secondment.
