Amrit’s practice centers on commodity and derivatives transactions, with a focus on energy transactions. She supports all types of matters related to the structuring of utility-scale PPAs, energy supply and offtake arrangements, and other agreements for the sale and purchase of power and natural gas. Amrit’s recent experience includes assisting with EEI Master Agreements, Energy Management Agreements, Guaranties, NDAs, and other commercial contracts used in the sale, purchase, scheduling, and management of energy and related products.
Before joining the firm, Amrit worked with the North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB), where she supported regulatory agencies (including FERC, NERC, and U.S. Department of Energy) and industry on market rules, standardized agreements, and operational frameworks across the natural gas and electric markets. In that role, Amrit worked on ISO/RTO market requirements, gas-power coordination, and emerging commercial structures for new energy resources such as hydrogen. She has published topics including gas-electric market coordination, hydrogen contracting, and greenhouse gas tracking in commodity markets.
