AHLA’s 2013 LTC and the Law program includes an individual educational track for nursing facility, assisted living and home health attorneys and providers. The Program Planning Committee has made a concentrated effort to include sessions with practical information useful to providers, as well as those who represent them in areas of Medicare, Medicaid, Enforcement, Fraud, Diversification, Transactions, Risk Management, etc. Each track also includes “hot topic” issues such as predictive modeling, physician integration, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), bundling, social media, increasing patient acuity, patient mental health issues to only mention a few.
