Alyssa is an associate and trial lawyer in the firm’s Global Commercial Disputes group. Her national and international practice focuses on a range of complex commercial litigation disputes before federal and state courts and arbitral tribunals. She represents corporate and individual clients in various sectors including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, shipping, financial services, technology, and real estate. She has handled a variety of different types of commercial matters including contract disputes, arbitrations, insurance coverage disputes (policyholders), construction defect litigation, business and mass torts, RICO claims, and bankruptcy reorganizations.
Alyssa has been an integral member of several trial teams, including one which secured a full defense verdict for a major wholesale pharmaceutical distributor. Her experience in the entire lifecycle of a litigation is comprehensive, including developing and implementing strategy, managing discovery disputes, coordinating with opposing and co-counsel, taking and defending complex depositions of fact, expert, and corporate designee witnesses, working with expert witnesses, pre-trial preparation, and trial advocacy.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Alyssa proudly served for two years as a United States Peace Corps volunteer in Uganda. She is now treasurer and board member of the New York City Returned Peace Corps Association and a representative to the United Nations for the National Peace Corps Association.
