Andrzej is a counsel in the Financial Industry Group. He has worked on a broad variety of structured finance transactions including residential mortgage backed securitisations, commercial mortgage backed securitisations, auto loans securitisations, commercial real estate loan origination, structured finance litigation, repacks and CLOs. Andrzej has advised corporate service providers, originators, arrangers, trustees, servicers, noteholders and borrowers on a range of structured finance and derivative transactions in a number of jurisdictions. Over the last couple of years, Andrzej has been involved in a number of loan portfolio secondary trades and the development of new structures in residential and commercial mortgage backed securitisations including retained trades, sale and leaseback securitisations. Andrzej has also been actively involved in a number of debt restructurings stemming from the insolvency of Lehman Brothers and the subsequent lack of liquidity in the interbank market and has recently been advising financial institutions on the effects of capital markets sanctions implemented as a result of the crisis in Ukraine.
