Gretchen supports the firmwide Business & Finance and Commercial Litigation Departments. She recently focused on supporting an internal investigation of a Fortune 500 company in its suit against the government, the sale of a local software company and a litigation concerning contract matters.
Gretchen has actively practiced in both Pennsylvania and Washington State. While practicing in Washington, her practice focused mainly on transactional work. She represented both large and small real estate developers, coffee companies and smaller corporate clients in forming business entities, corporate transactions and sale of businesses. In Pennsylvania, her practice has been more general, involving both transactional and litigation work which allowed her to regularly appear at motions and at trial. Through this wide-ranging legal practice, Gretchen has experience in drafting a variety of transaction and litigation documents. Such documents include limited partnership and limited liability agreements, bylaws, articles of incorporation, 501(c)(3) filings, company resolutions, releases, joint venture agreements, leases, subleases, assignments, promissory notes, real estate purchase agreements, closing binders, deeds, condominium agreements, real estate finance documents, estate planning documents, pleadings, discovery and motions.
In addition, Gretchen represented clients in disabled person and probate proceedings.
