Alex is a staff attorney in Reed Smith's Global Solutions Pittsburgh office. Alex’s practice focuses on defending financial institutions in matters arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and state statutes pertaining to lending, debt collection and consumer protection.
Alex graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in 2014. During his law school career, Alex clerked for the now Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice, the Honourable David N. Wecht. Prior to joining Reed Smith, Alex practiced at the law firm of Chaffin Luhana LLP, representing Plaintiffs in automotive accidents and other personal injury lawsuits. Alex resolved matters in his client’s favor via settlement and the litigation process.
Having “crossed the aisle,” Alex provides a unique insight into legal matters, and is able to view the matter through the lenses of the plaintiff and defendant in order to press for favorable resolution for Reed Smith’s clients.
