Weldianne joined Reed Smith in September of 2024 and provides firmwide support to the Business & Finance and Litigation Departments. Weldianne’s practice includes supporting creditors and debtors with preparing subpoenas, garnishments and other legal filings, managing pre-litigation matters and negotiating matters to resolution. She has experience litigating and supporting complex litigation matters concerning lender liability, violations of federal and state consumer protection statutes and regulations, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
Prior to joining Reed Smith Weldianne was an Associate Attorney for a multi-state firm in the financial services and real estate industry representing financial institutions in consumer and commercial actions. Weldianne is knowledgeable in all aspects of litigation, with experience in a broad array of commercial disputes, as well as immigration law, real estate law, criminal law, family law, and estate law.
