Colin focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on antitrust and intellectual property. He also has extensive experience in arbitration, both domestic and international. Colin has represented numerous clients in the pharmaceutical industry in virtually all types of disputes, from patent infringement litigation to contract and licensing disputes. He also has experience representing clients in the beverage, computer, and telecommunications industries.
In the patent arena, Colin has handled cases involving pharmaceutical formulations and methods, as well as cases in computer and technology fields. He also advises clients on antitrust compliance issues and in connection with merger analyses, and has represented clients before the Department of Justice Antitrust Division and the Federal Trade Commission.

Represented the men’s professional tennis tour, ATP Tour, Inc., against antitrust claims brought by the owners of the Hamburg tennis tournament. After a two-week jury trial, the ATP prevailed on all counts.
Obtained dismissal on behalf of a statutory insider against an alleged multi-million-dollar violation of the short swing profit rule and subsequently defended the dismissal in the Second Circuit.
