Evy is member of the Insurance Recovery and Records and E-Discovery Groups. She has 17 years of accounting and litigation experience, and has worked with a broad range of firms and industries in both litigation and non-litigation settings.
Evy has experience in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, pre-trial motions, and preparing witnesses and experts for trial. She has developed protocols for and supervised both hard copy and electronic record collection and review projects in complex litigation matters, involving millions of pages of documents. Evy’s knowledge of database and spreadsheet applications has proved useful in analyzing irregularities and issues in electronic data prior to production, as well as aiding in the overall assessment of case strategy.
Evy's experience with handling financial and accounting issues has proved useful in numerous matters involving economic damages, lost profits, unjust enrichment, reasonable royalties, the valuation of businesses, assets and intellectual property, insurance recovery and business interruption claims, forensic accounting and accounting malpractice. In addition, she has performed royalty audits, asset tracking and internal investigations related to misappropriations. Evy has previously been designated as an expert and has provided expert arbitration testimony.
In addition, Evy has also served as an advisor on several intellectual property (IP) matters, including registrations, infringements, licensing negotiations, dispute resolutions, valuations and competitive assessments. She has performed data mining techniques to identify underutilized intellectual assets for licensing, as well as assisted companies with IP management systems and corporate strategies.
